This series in Cincinnati is tied 1-1. Both teams have won a game, yesterdays game was tied until the reds took the 8-5 lead. Today the Reds have the pitching advantage, Sony Gray will be in the mount today for the reds. Gray had an espectacular august, he had an 0.74 ERA over six games and managed to win 4 of them. Meanwhile the Phillies pitcher today will be Jason Vargas, he has a 6-7 record and is coming from his worst outing as a phillie were he gave up 5 runs and 9 hits over 4 innings. In my opinion Sony Gray is coming into a new month, september, the last month in regular season. This new month might mean Gray may fall and give up some hits and runs, the phillies have a really good batting rotation and they can hurt you. Today the phillies will score lots of runs, and even though the reds might score some too, they will loose by 2 or more runs.

Today both pitchers (Berrios Vs Rodriguez) have a 3. something ERA. Yesterday there was plenty of hits and they only managed to make it to 11 runs. There is no doubt today will be under 15 runs.

The pirates have lost everything this year, they ended the first half of the season so good just to throw it all to the trash in the second half. That does not mean they have a bad team, in my opinion they just had a rough path. This series vs the Marlins is like the worst team vs the other worst team. Yesterday the Bucs lost against the marlins at home (PNC Park) and they definetly dont want to loose again. Trevor Williams is pitching today, despite the Bucs horrible season, Williams has been good. The Bucs will want to give something to the fans that still go to see them despite this season is over. Williams will dominate the Marlins lineup and the Bucs bats will hit. Bucs win this by 2 runs or more.

Trevor Bauer is on the mount for the Reds today, if you look at his past outings then you might believe this is an easy game for the Phillies, but truth is Trevor is a great pitcher and he is definetly looking to bounce back. The reds have a 1-4 record vs the Phillies this year, the reds defineltly want this game, they want trevor to have a nice pitching day and of course a win. The reds line at home vs the Phillies is to good to pass, lets hope the reds can find the bat vs Aron Nola and take this match home.

Yesterday the Mets suffered a heartbreaking loss, they were 6 runs up in the bottom of the ninth and the Nats Walked it OFF! This was devastating, as the Mets were up 10-4 and they thought they could take the second game of the series. Today we have a nice pitching matchup, Wheeler vs Sanchez. Wheeler has a horrible ERa vs the Nats, 7.92 and is 0-2 vs them, but the Mets have a positive 11-7 record vs the Nats. Today the Mets are angry because of yesterdays loss, they are 5 games behind a wild card spot. The nats have a +3 game in the wild card. This game is crucial for both teams but I believe the Mets could take this one, of course, if the manage to keep their lead hahaha.

Wawrinka showed quite a game vs Djokovic. He was playing smooth, hitting the ball extremley clean vs the best player in tennis right now. Stan has been increasing his game through this tounrament and is seroius about taking it to the longer route. On the other hand we have Medvedev who has been loosing sets in all his matches except round one. He has had tough couple of weeks, where he has been playing lots of matches. Medvedev even had to take pain killers in his last game, he could probably win a set today but stan will take the other 3 sets.

Schwartzman has the dream bracket now that Khachanov is out. The argentinian will not let this opportunity go to waste. But the youngster may find himself a set, hes line is pretty good with a +2.5 sets, all he has to do is get one. Schwartzman is a crazy good player but probably he lets a set go.

The italian had a tougher round one, but he will win this match. Jordan Thomson had a great game vs one of the worst Gasquet we have seen. Today the 23 year old italian Matteo Berrettini will win vs the 25 year old from australia. Both players are very inconsistent, so we may see a 5 set match, but Matteo winning is not a doubt.
