Rublev comes from loosing a quick quarter final vs the Western and Southern open champion Medvedev. Rublev has been playing great tennis. Fabiano is a great match up although today Rublev is winning in two sets as he prepares for he’s best action in the US OPEN.

The first start he had vs the cardinals was not that bad, 5 H 1 ER and 7 SO. The second start was vs the Padres were he performed 9 H, 3 ER and 3 SO. Its not that bad, but today the marlins have nothing to loose. They are last place in their division, they are playing at home vs the best team in the league and they for sure want to have fun out there. Miami is looking to find some good hits and maybe some home runs today in the first game of the series vs the dodgers. If they happen to find a single win or are even close to a win they will be more than satisfied. Marlins pitcher Yamamoto has also nothing to loose, he is facing one of the most difficult line-ups in the league and the hottest batter (Cody Bellinger), today Jordan Yamamoto has something to prove to the league.

Nick Kyrgos comes from winning the citi open. Hard courts is one of his bigger strenghts. On the other side, Lorenzo has little experiencie on hard courts. Today is the perfect scenario to get a win, 8-8 and 4.41 ERA pitcher Jake Arrieta will take the mount today for the Phillies, only 2 starts ago he played the Giants where the Phillies won 10-2 where Jake pitched 4.0 innings and only received 4 hits and 2 runs. The Giants are not good this year, they already won 1 game this series, which is more than I expected. The Phillies will take this game and 3 game series today.

Medvedev has proven his strokes are getting better through out the year, and has had good results against high seeds, however Rafa has much more expierence in hard court finals and will oust Daniil.

Los Angeles Dodger will win this game by 2 runs or more. Here is why:
This season Dodgers have a 9-5 winning record vs the Diamondbacks. The Dodgers also have a 31-25 away record, meanwhile the D-Backs have a 27-28 home record. Although its almost a .500 home record, it will probably just lower this match vs the NL best team. If we talk about pitching, Dodgers clearly have the advantage. The matchup is Mike Leake (Dbacks), its only he´s second game in arizona. In his past game he got 11 hits and 3 runs. Leake has a 4.24 ERA. On the other side there is Hyun-jin Ryu (Dodgers), one of the best pitchers in the league right now. Ryu has a 1.53 ERA and has only recieved 2 earned runs in the past 3 games.

Although both teams have won the series they have played this month, I belive the dodgers have the advantage today. They are superior pitching and batting wise. Yesterdays 4-0 blowout was just a small taste of what will happen today.
